    my huge congrats on this one subbu. one of the best image i've ever seen taken in india. just wish for a little tone down and white looks a bit more warmer ...

    agree with mittal also a little color alance would help and a round of usm should work too IMHO

    beautiful pose.eye contact...looks a bit oversaturated

    Sharpness and composition look good. I find the angle a bit steep and the light quite harsh. I might be tempted to remove the green twig at the bottom and would tone down the highlights.

    Very sharp photo. Perhaps toning it down will bring out more detail in the whites. Very nice capture. Dave

    A bit too saturated IMHO. Wanting to see a bit more of the wings. Like the stare into yonder composition. Good catch.

    The highlight of this image is surprisingly the steep angle which gels well with the nature of this bird. I may do some tonal changes as suggested by Axel and remove the OOF twig. Congrats!!

    If you dont like to clone, then cropping may not hurt either. I like the long necks of these guys. Beautiful portrait.
