I am hoping the rumoured 100-500 becomes reality....maybe its going to be 120-450 as it says in article....thanks Dan

This article doesn't appear very credible. It starts out by saying that Nikon will be coming out with a D300s in 2010. Sorry but the D300s has been out for several months. No way a D4 is coming in 2010 since Nikon just introduced the D3s.

Article was posted on the 9th July, I can't think when the D300s came out off the top of my head?!

According to DP Review, it was announced in July 2009, and I think it started shipping in late August or early September.

The D7oos is what I've been waiting for. it does seem to be the natural progression of the smaller FF camera. Nikon needs something to compete with the Canon D5 II.

They both need a camera to compete with the new Sony, A850. It's priced $100's under the Canon and the Nikon.
