    European Roller in flight



    Hello all! This is my first posting on this forum. Would like to know your views on image.

    Equipment : Canon 50D
    Lens : Canon 100-400L IS
    Taken at Jamnagar (Gujarat) India.

    Big welcome Vatsal on BPN , nice first image to start with ,
    nice wing pose and and eye contact
    for me this is touch tight in bottom and details on black looks blocked

    Beautiful lighting and detail . Love the flight pose and I ditto a tad more canvas on the bottom. Thanks for sharing and a big welcome to BPN. Will be looking for your future posts.

    Welcome to BPN, Trivedi! Very nice first post. Light and sharpness look great. I wish the near wing were a bit lower and the bird would be slightly angled toward you. Keep them coming!

    Wellcome on board Vatsal. I like the action of this roller a lot with that great eye contact and showing the upperside of both wings. The warm light is top quality. I miss some additional room at the bottom and, in a perfect world, I would prefer more separation between the bird and the dark out of focus stuff at the right. The image works fine for me but the sharpness is, in my opinion, a bit intense.
    One of my favorite birds, by the way :-)
