    Hi John,

    What an image. I love the colors the most but also the comp is great, the smaller 2 in the upper left balance the image really well. Teh angle of view is perfect the give the viewer a look under the caps.

    The only small change I think may improve the image, and its a small one would be to darken the highlights in the moss above the fungi.

    I love fungi shots and this one is very nice. It's purely personal taste but I often use a reflector to remove or lighten some of the shadows underneath the caps, I find it softer than flash. That's the beauty of fungi, it's going nowhere so I might try flash, refector and ambient light and pick out the best.
    The reflector I use is the silver balloon found in a wine cask. It folds up to nothing and I also get a good excuse to drink the wine!

    Lovely colours on these special mushrooms and great POV.
    I think a bit of curves might improve this and as mentioned toning down the moss a bit.
