    Good looking bird Jeff Difficult exposure and nailed it !! Sure like seeing the back side and head turn !! About all we could wish for is a better perch Sure wish I had it !!! Big Congrats !!!

    Al, it's duck hunting season in certain parts of the park and everyone is jumpy. Usually when I drive around looking for eagles the hawks just look at me, today they were flying before I could get ID on them. The eagles and hawks sit on top tall trees that boarder the Mississippi River. Look for fish and critters facing the water, very woody area. Hence, most of the pictures from the weekend have angles and lot's of woods everywhere - had fun and the local food is great.

    ... might want to stick a 2X which will flatten the angle some !!!

    Hi Jeff,
    I like the composition, image and capture. You have good feather details, a good head angle and sharp eye. I too like the rear head turn. Well done Jeff...keep them coming...:cool:

    Great capture Jeff. Excellent tones and very sharp. The perch like Al mentioned is the only thing that detracts a little.

    i love the look backs from these birds. you got the REDtail! very cool. other techs covered nicely above.
