    Hi Harold,

I am still trying to get a hold on photographing Florida Landscapes so appreciate anyone's view of it to help me.

Overall I like the scene though I think more contrast is needed in the mid-tones. Not sure if I like the tree in the FG as it is not completely in the image. I guess I am finding it distracting. I am thinking that I would have preferred to see the expanse of grass in the front, the line of trees and the expanse of sky. Each third roughly divided into a ROT horizontal.

I would have tried not to crop off the trees on the left either. Is the horizon level.

yeah, the horizon is level. i think with there being so many layers, it's kinda deceiving. i have a few more i'm working on that are cleaner. i'll try posting in a few minutes.

    thanks robert.

here's another one with some cleaner edges and different CROP. this one was originally a horizontal. just wanted to try something different. i think the artifacts are coming from cranking up the contrast. really doesnt bother me in the B&W version.

    thanks for the comments
