Hey Angad - This beast needs a new name because there is nothing "Common" here! Stunning first post of a beautiful creature. Composition is dead on for my taste and I love the rim lighting. You might selectively brighten the eye area a little but it is fine as is. Background is very nice as well but not quite as buttery as it would have been at ISO 400. Fantastic shot, my friend, and welcome aboard!!!

Welcome to BPN, Angad! And what a lovely image to start off with! Exposure and clarity are spot on. It is very difficult to get any detail in the eye because of the black face, but you have managed very well!

    Angad,
I agree with Ajit. It is not easy to get the details in the face and eye. You have done well. These common langurs have such expressive faces. One can get winning images just following these fellows instead of chasing the mega-fauna. There is a hint of a limb at the bottom of the fame near the middle. So cropping from the bottom would strengthen the image, in my opinion.

    Cheers,
    Sabyasachi
