    Great bird, Jan. A few little things to improve the image IMO. The shaded blacks on the breast are noisy - ?opened in post as there are no pure blacks in the image. May be worth reprocessing the raw and accepting black feathers in shade are going to clip. A slight red desaturation brings a little more detail into the red areas of the beak and I think a little more sharpening will optimise web presentation. Light looks quite bright - what SS did you have with iso200 @f10?

    A nice pose. Be careful with more sharpening. I think I can see some halo as it stands. The left side of the perch seems a tad bright to me.

    Agree with comments above, still a nice guy for your files Jan- I sadly only have juveniles and a few odd (backside, underside )film captures of adults, I really wish for a nice adult in my files.
