    Wood Ducks are one of the many duck species that can be found here locally as this is one of the most colorful of
    the wintering species.:)

    I love this species, one of the most beautiful of ducks. Your image is perfect to my eyes. HA, backgnd, exposure and sharpness.

    James, You are so lucky to get to shoot the wood ducks and the mandarin ducks. They are so colorful and beautiful. You did a great job as always capturing them. Very nice composition and details. I love the pewter colored water.

    Nice catch, James. There must be nine colors on the wood duck and you brought them out nicely without overdoing it. Another great low angle shot as well. I'm with Denise on the water - beautiful.

    You've managed to get the full range of colors in this handsome fellow, not to mention the great low angle and eye contact. Very nicely done.

    Great detail here! Love the eye contact, colours and especially the eye contact. Would again (just like with your manderin duck shot) recommend taking some of the top. Lovely shot James!

    Super image James. The colors you were able to capture in the feathers of the head look awesome. These jucks are so cool depending on the light you can get a whole different color palate.

    I'd agree with a very slight cw rotation. But even without that change it's a great image.
