    Most of the migrating birds are gone now, most of the winter birds haven't arrived yet....so I decided to go to a local Wildlife Garden, to see what was around. The late afternoon light was perfect...I was unable to move they were nervous birds. This male was very cooperative. Thanks for looking

    Hey Paul - this would make a great Christmas card! I love the way all the features are angling to the upper left from the lower right. Excellent composition for me. I wonder if that eye could be brightened, just a little ...

    My first thoughts too were this would make a wonderful Christmas card. Lovely composition and I very much like your choice of DOF. Thanks for sharing.

    Hey, I recognize that very perch! Haven't there in a while - I should make a visit soon. Have they started filling the feeders there yet?

    P.S. I'll echo the Xmas card sentiment. I do wish the face and back were better lit though.

    Dan, main feeder behind office had seed, not sure about the others on the trails.. ....
