    Not part of theme, but continuing my work with texture overlays.
    Nikon D300, Sigma 105mm macro, 1/2 sec., f16, ISO 100, indoors, tripod, natural light. PP: Topaz Adjust; applied two of my own textures.

    Nice and sharp Anita and I like the comp. The edges of the flower look like a funny colour of pink, did the BG (yellow) spill over on to the flower? Other than that I really like the image.

    Anita, Really nice overlay, your cosmo is perfectly sharp in the right areas. I like the way you kept a nice soft palette w/ the overlay. Nicely done.

    Yes, there is some yellow in the pink of the flower. I debated about removing more of the yellow. It seems you give one vote for doing so. Thanks for your comment. It is good to get feedback.

    Love the flower Anita! I'd like to see a softer transition between the pinks and yellows in the BG - maybe a 50% clone between the two areas to soften that line a bit more.

    You are really doing some gorgeous work with overlays.

    Thank you all!!! I'm having so much fun with texture overlays.

    Jules' suggestion is a good one. Jules, I actually did soften the transition some, but I can try to soften it even more.

    Again, thanks for the input and for helping me to become a better photographer.
