    Great pose and detail. I would crop off some of the perch from the bottom.

    Nice pose and perch. Light looks quite high in the sky - may have been an opportunity for a touch of fill flash to open up the shadows beneath the bird.

    The Junco looks nice and sharp. I like the background and head angle of the bird. I agree it may look a little better with some of the perch cut off at the bottom.

    The difference between western Juncos and those we have here in the east is just amazing Gary. I don't think I have ever seen one around home with this much brown in it. Mother nature really is a "mad scientist". I really like the pose and detail in your image. The bg is pretty nice looking too.
