    Roman:
Nice light, sharpness, exposure and pose. The crop is, dare I say it, very Romanesque. The bird does work the diagonals well.

Glad you mentioned the temps. I was waffling about going out tomorrow because it was going to be in the high teens here in Mich, but now I feel like a wimp, so off I go in the morning.

    Cheers

Glad you got some nice light Roman! The Bosque can be pretty cold, but it ususally warms up quickly. Regarding your image, I like the exposure and near wing sharpness. However the head looks like it could stand some more sharpening. Good luck with the rest of your trip!

Classic sandhill pose, well executed with beautiful light. I agree about more sharpening of the head/eye.

Great CROP!! Nothing like getting in close and isolating the image; I am definitely a fan of the Romanesque approach to presentations!

Beautiful wing position and flight angle, looks like the focus was on the wing area and head is going out of dof, I would sharpen the head more.
