There were a bunch of for Cormorant at Anhinga Trail today, with the usual approachability. WE saw the American Bitterns, Great blues, Tricolored Herons, one Great Egret, the Osprey, two Hawks too far for pictures, and of course, the inimitable Black Vultures, owners of the parking lot.

Cool composition and that eye puts it over the top. If anything I might desaturate the orange parts a bit.

I see a lot of these close up cormorant shots from AT, but this one is exceptional. Composed beautifully.

Hey Fabs - Lovely composition and great title. The eye, which represents my birthstone, is amazing. I've seen some water turtles with that same eye color. Great shot.

Nice color and clarity in that eye. I find the patterns in the feathers on the left side just as interesting.

Very nice image Fabs. I find the oof fg on the left very interesting as well as having the eye more or less centred in the photo interesting. A very pleasant touch. Dave

A very cool interesting perspective. Just goes to show that there are many way to present an avian image - creativity has always been one of your many strong suits.

    Fabs:

It has all been covered, but the lines and use of negative space as framing elements works very well here.

    Congrats
