Behavior question...

Saw these two "dancing" around each other at La Jolla, CA a few weeks ago. Was definitely not a fight so I suspect some kind of courtship. Would anyone know more?

Would go with the courtship Jean-Luc !!!!! Reminds me of gannets They seem to do this behavior A tiny more space for the eye of the back bird would have been great As is one amazing image !!!! Big Congrats !!! Great colors !!!

Great interaction, my best guess is courtship, too. I might have raised the ISO to be able to get wider DOF to have both sharp.
