Michael, sweet light and nice head angle. I like the perch as well.

A gorgeous portrait! In addition to the sweet light, HA, BG and detail, you've managed to capture a wonderfully satiny feeling to the plumage. Nicely done! Wish I had gone to Barnegat this week.

I like the angle, sharpness and exposure control, good job on the eye, too. First I was wondering what the BG is but I think it has to be the beach and puddle between the jetty and the sand, right?

Beautiful photo. Love the detail. The blue in the background contrasts really nicely with the white on the bird.

Michael, The pose, the background colors, head angle and details all came together nicely. Beautiful image w/ the inclusion of the rock.

I am really enjoying everything about your image here Michael. The pose and perch are fabulous, the detail in the bird and compostion are perfect, and the blue gray bg set the bird off so well. I also am digging the extreme detail you were able to get in the texture on the birds feet and legs. Well done!!
