    I'll post this one, then give it a rest for a few days -- I think I may be "over-posting." I got this image this morning and later learned I had a species that frequents only a very limited area of Southern California and a bit of Northern Baja. The image is cropped almost 50% and adjusted for clarity and brightness in LR, and then I ran NR and USM in Elements, also cloned out a few branches. I know the pose isn't optimum, but I was pleased to get a record of this bird. C&C appreciated.

    A very nice capture Wendell,
    I like the color rendition and fine details on your subject...the branches do not bother me because it part of the habitat...good show...looking forward to your next one...

    Not bad at all Wendell !! Do like the pose and look back Angle a little steep and some cutter but you made the best possible image from your position !!!
