    Default American Kestrel.

    I found this Kestrel a few days ago in Burlington area along Burlington Bay.
    It was not close but I take it any time when it perches in a tree and not on the wire.

    Love the colors on this pretty lady and HA is great. Angle is a bit steep but I too would have taken the shot.;) I'd clone out the twig sticking out from behind her though.

    I like the eye contact with the look back pose. I would also remove the branch suggested. Nice shot.

    I agree with the others on the branch, and would also increase the contrast a tad.

    Congratulations Kari. You usually see these birds on a wire and not easy to capture. Love the pose and composition. The eye contact is lovely. Thanks for sharing this little beauty with us.
