    Jim:
    An amazing capture. The owl doesn't look too pleased, the crow looks determined.

    Good underwing detail on the owl, love the feet showing on the crow.

    The light appears to have been pretty soft, which sure helped here.

    I assume the crow didn't actually land, but just bounced off the owl?

    I have never quite understood why the big birds put up with it. If he got a hold of the crow, it would be history.

    I suspect the smaller birds are more agile, but it seems pretty darn risky to me.

    What time of day was this taken Jim?

    Lovely exposure, interaction, and eye contact. The crow looks extremely noisy, and lacking a bit in the IQ department. Nice natural history image.
