Another photo by Gina using an Olympus C770 UZ 10X Digi-Cam on her trip to Kenya, Africa in 2006 with her sister, Lee. What is amazing to me is that Gina had only 2 hours instruction and testing on this Point and Shoot before leaving on her trip. She has also had over 50,000 hits on this folder, and still gets at least 50 hits per week now: http://outdoors.webshots.com/album/168352089CrsVYq
This photo was sketched with AKVIS Sketch 10 . . .
Gus, Nice soft high key effect. I might tone down the chest a bit. I do like the natural colors in the grass of the orig. and would probably add some back in as it is very lovely. Fifty thousand hits! Amazing! Congratulations Gina-Well done.
I much prefer the sketched version but agree that the highlights need the detail restored. I was even going to suggest taking some of the yellow out of the original post! Overall I love it.

I seem to remember this one Gus. I wonder if you selected the rear cheetah and darkened a bit if it would give them more separation and definition. Lovely base photo, toning down the highlights would be an easy fix:).
Very nice pose and effect. I like the sketch look. The muted colors are nice, though I wonder how it would look with more of the golden colors of the original. Might also want to see how it looks in B&W. Just throwing out some ideas!
Thats a great image and perfect subject for patterns in nature. I like the sketched version. Agree on the comments regarding the details. Excellent image. TFS.
Thanks for all the comments, I sure appreciate them. Having only got the new full version 10 today I have a lot to learn and tried to incorporate a couple of concerns such as Denise's darker chest and Jackie's more pronounced Cheeta behind the rear back of the front one. Also suggestions to add a tad of color.
I like this program better than the others I have and will study the Tutorial CD in the mail when I get it and try to do better next time.
Appreciate the time all of you took to look at and make comments on this drawing attempt. Beleive me when I say "the comments here in BHP are the best learning tools I have come acrossd yet!"
