Theme - Patterns - Swamp Scum
This image of Swamp Scum (algae) was taken at Merritt Island NWR earlier this year. We liked the patterns of the colors of the different algae in the "scum" and the way it changed over time.
Modifications included; Poster Edge, Accented Edges, Dry Brush, Brightness & Contrast and Hue & Saturation

Mark, Nice abstract feel to this. I like the deep green w/ the yellow and orange. Nice pattern and comp. I'm not crazy about the frame-but different strokes!
Mark, This is really different and unusual. I like the complimentary colors.
I like the pattern and the image design. Toning down the SAT might improve it.

It is an interesting water pattern. It changes thoughout the season. This ditch canal had spectacular forms and colors. Hope to explore it more this coming season, which is almost upon us. Bring down the birds!!!
The shot was taken on Biolab Road, should any of you come this way and want to try and find it. The road is our favorite ride for gators. Often see 40 + in one day during the winter when they come to the water and banks to sun.
