    Default Sanderling Yoga

Photographed at Barnegat Light two days ago. I was told that in yoga this is called the 'airplane pose'. :)

Really like the environment here...both foreground and background.

Pose is excellent as is sharpness.

It looks as though the bird itself could use just a hair more saturation or contrast in the non white areas?

Thanks, Ray! I only ran a bit noise reduction on the BG.

awesome... that is all I ever do. those blues look so dreamy.

Would you prefer that they were lighter in colour, or is this a non issue?

I was thinking about lightening the BG a little and might give it a try.

I absolutely love the exposure on the bird . The foreground and the BG have striking colours . Would have liked them a tad bit lighter though.

Interesting.. that deep blue seems to have overwhelmed the bird, almost giving it a blue tint??

I liked the colours. I would prefer slightly less saturation. Overall, a lovely image.

Axel, Nice job getting the blue BG and the green algae on the rocks. The Sanderling looks good surrounded by color. Fantastic pose! Details look good, I agree a bit more contrast.

Nice bird, wing stretch, EXP, and especially head angle. The whites look clean and I see no blue cast anywhere.
