This was taken at sunrise this morning. I was very lucky to have the bird fly by this close. I had to add a bit of room to right and trimmed a bit from top and left. 50D, 500mmf/4 at f/4, 1/3000, ISO1600, EC+1 1/2. Dave

Very nice shot! like the near wing position, eye contact although not perfect indicates typical flight behavior, light is soft and sweet but high ISO has left some noise in darker areas.

Hi Dave from Delta, sweet shot, i like the composition.
A bit more eye contact would have been nice, but it is hunting so it's not a major issue.
    Looks good for ISO 1600.

Some minor noise, but also some great detail.

Thanks for the comments. I had two choices for posting; fulleye and half wing, or half eye and full wing. I was curious about how I had handled the noise/detail issue so posted the better wing. I also was not sure which shot was the better for viewing and in hindsight I agree the better eye was better for viewing. Dave
