    Default Theme: Lily Pattern

I took this image at Longwood Gardens in the summer. It was a random shot of water lillies. I added a slight topaz simplify and texture then I layered a few layers at lower opacity (something similar to Fab's tutorial on multiple exposures)to create a semi-blur softening effect. I added a water paper filter to soften the image a bit more.I wanted a semi-Asian feel to go w/ the Lilies. Oh ya I cloned a few spots also!:)

Denise - I really like this a lot. It has a silk-like quality to it that is very appealing:)

Very nice effect, Denise. I like the softened look to it.

Very nice image, Denise! One of my favorites of yours! Love the pattern and effect. Has a nice 3d look to it.

Your treatment here is tremendous - and you did create a look of a painting on rice paper. Your lilies look like you created them in camera. Where does one find the tutorial you speak of?

The colour palette really works here for me D, and of course the repeating patterns. A wallhanger:)
