    Canon 7D 500 F4 with 1.4 converter 400 ISO 1/4000 @ 5.6 I have been trying to get a good flight shot of these guys not a easy task . This is full frame no crop

    I like the bright visible eye, wing position is not best, looks soft given it was full frame. TFS

    Yes i agree Arash i am having a hard time getting good files from the 7D on BIFs . I don/t want to be fast to blame the camera i need more time with it .

    Definitely not sharp. With the bird that close, I would drop take the TC off and you may have better luck. The lens plus the converter on a crop factor camera makes for tough shooting.

    I like the gliding pose, light and BG. I would put the bird further to the right in the frame to give him room to fly into and wish for a bit more eye contact. Extra sharpening did not help, I guess?

    I really like how you got nice and close to the owl. Looks like you had pretty good light as well. Good for you. Dave
