From last weeks one day of sun .I like photographing birds doing things ,early morning and the light was so clear I could not resist taking this image .I made one version with the reflection in the water but it did not sit well in the frame and I preferred the cropped version .If i had been kneeling it would have looked a lot better in the frame composition wise but this was not an option as shore was very wet and muddy with wall to wall goose poo

Good exposure. You captured a nice behabavioral shot. I like the tail feathers up in the air but the bird is a little too centered for my taste.

Great image. Love the open bill and the way the tail plumes are so distinct against the background. Another vote for a slightly more off center composition...perhaps a little more space at top if you have it and a little less of the reflection. It also looks like it could use just a hair of clockwise rotation.

Great detail and action shot. I would like it if the bird were rotated so I could see the eye more clearly. And I agree that a little less reflection would be better.

This is sweet Suzanne I like your angle of capture and the detail and exposure are perfect on this beautiful duck.
