    Default Great Horned Owl Flight

I Just returned from 2 weeks at Bosque and a week in Puerto Rico. I went out this afternoon to do some scouting for a workshop later this week. It turned out to be a pretty good afternoon including a close encounter of the GHO kind. This is a wild bird that was called, but not baited.

Let's hope it turns up for the workshop as well. Nicely done in low light conditions. Lovely light and bg. Dave

light, pose and colours are great! not sure if the high ISO had an effect on your IQ here as the bird doesn't seem that sharp?

Jim...killer light, gaze and pose. The bird must be flying really fast...testing your skills before the workshop :-)

Great shot Jim. Never seen a GHO in flight, the warm light complements the bird's color and a slight downward flight pose shows intensity.
