    This was taken a few days ago. I cloned out a couple branches extending through the wren. Cropped a bit. 50D, 500f/4, f/4, 1/90, ISO400. Dave

    Nice one Dave, wonderful details in the plumage. Background while busy is very complimentary colour wise.

    Beautiful bird, and interesting habitat (I'm used to seeing these guys within reeds and cattails). A bit too much room above IMO, and I would darken the midtones as I find the image rather light. Good sharpness for that shutter speed...that wren must have held steady for a second for you!

    Hi Dave - What a tack sharp shot of this little guy - beautiful. I like the crazy background on this one as well.

    Wrens are always special for us ( atleast here ) , beautiful image , lovely details and BG dont bother me at all

    Here's a case where a busy BG provides a great sense of habitat and a wonderfully complimentary color to the bird. Nicely done. Agree with previous comments about a bit of crop from the top and slightly darker mid-tones. Handsome image.
