Default Purple Sandpiper In The Rocks ~ Late Light

Image created about 25 minutes before the sun set this past Sunday afternoon.

I realize you can't see the feet, but that's not uncommon when these little beauties are foraging. I opted to leave the food particles on it's bill as well as it was actually in the nooks and crannies feeding.

    Your thoughts?

Light and sharpness looks good. I would give it a bit more room left and bottom.

What you see is the actual left and the actual bottom :)

Sharp as a tac and beautiful detail in this image. I find this a most interesting composition and many thanks for sharing Jim.

I too would have prefered more room at left, but I do realize that's all you have. Pointing the lens left even just half an inch more would have been great. I like the light and colours. I don't mind the hidden feet, but wish less of the body was covered by the rock. Still, well done on this guy!
