Hi, these are a few images that I made during Jim Neiger's workshop. ID help before I post the images would be much appreciated. Thanks,
    Cheers, Jay

Jay, I think 2&3 Loggerhead shrike. 4 mockingbird, 5 mourning dove. 6 limpkin and I think 1 may be a grackle.

    Hi,

Was this workshop in Florida? Could you post a full size version of photo 1. I'm not sure that this is a Grackle.

Hi Jay, These shots remind me of my own visit to Jim Neiger's lake!
    1. Male Boat-tailed Grackle.
    2 & 3. Loggerhead Shrike.
    4. Northern Mockingbird.
    5. Mourning Dove.
    6. Limpkin.

I know you had a great workshop down there!

Agree on 2-6. Not sure whether 1 is a common or male boat-tailed grackle.
    Is the eye brown?
