I like the look-back pose and catch. A lower angle would have made this even stronger.

I agree with Axel relative to the lower angle being more optimal.

I would also suggest that a tighter crop would leave more emphasis on the subject and it's catch / action.

Hey Stuart - Awesome shot as I've never seen a gar being taken like this. As a predator, that gar is p/o'd right now! I'm guessing you might not have enough pixels left to go much tighter but I'd like to see it if you do. Very cool shot.
