Hi Steve, Its a beautiful picture nicely done. I liked the good use of DOF here and somehow I like this kind of postures to be Majestic.

Steve that is fabulous. You nailed the exposure and DOF. The rock colours really make this pop.

This is really nice, good angle and sense of scary heights.

Great pose, exposure- and I am wondering about the hike you had to do to get him?

Absolutely stunning portrait of this bighorn. You really captured the majesty of this sheep. DOF is handled very well.

I love Bighorn sheep and this is a great capture showing the habitat and the angle are where they operate., I love it!

Thanks everyone for the kind words. I wish I could say that the image was a result of hours of hiking and climbing but, this time of year in the northwest part of Wyoming the sheep are very close to the road. The effort with this image was the patience to wait for the ram to reach this position and assume this pose.

Really like the pose on the rock. It does show the bighorns precarious environment quite well.
