This will be the last BV post for a while (till I get to Giant's again and find "better" ones:)). Similar to the juvenile in pose, therefore I selected a pano crop as well. BG was the newly green grassland opposite the hide.
The feet and wing edges came out soft; it looks as if covered with un-erased blur but is like that on original image.

Betsie...these photos rock. Since it is looking down, I suggest more room below and crop a little from the right. That will make it a little less pano but still pano enough.
Hi Betsie, The head angle and resulting eye contact makes this image for me. Your exposure looks good. I also like the background. My personal preference would be a view of the bird that showed either more of the top or bottom of the wings. Thanks for sharing.
