This is a close crop of tropical palms leaves taken in Hawaii at Akaka Falls.

Modification included a Tight Crop for pattern, Convert to B&W and Adjust Hue & Saturation, Note Paper, Invert and Brightness/Contrast.

Mark, This one feels like it needs something to me-the textures and patterns are nice and I like the treatment.I think it's that the lighting feels harsh?Let's hear what others say.

I agree...it is a bit harsh. I also think it's the fact that the pattern is so intense...it's hard to find that place to let your eye rest. I'm wondering if this would be better in color than the black and white?
