    Default Zebra steeplechase!

Moremi Game Reserve- Botswana Sept '09.
Would have preferred a less busy BG.

    C & C most welcome

    Cheers

Nice capture Marc. Love the dirt flying up with the rear hooves. BG is busy but the zebra stands out enough to make it a non-factor for me. Removing the trunk behind the front hooves seems to break him away from the BG more for another option.

    Hi Marc,
Nicely done. I like the pose. The Zebra is nearly parallel to the sensor plane and the depth of field covers it. I won't remove any background element, as it gives us an idea about the habitat. I would have tried for a higher depth of field in this case to bring more of the background within the range. I like this image.

    Cheers,
    Sabyasachi

Great action. Like the colors and the dust behind the zebra. Agree about the busy background, but it does not really distract me.

Well captured, Marc, I like the sharp, clean zebbie against that lovely Moremi background. Good action, too.

    Marc,

    Another interesting Zebra!
Do you think it would have been better if the background was clearer?

Cool jumping posture Marc, and the dust from the rear hooves adds to the image. With regards to the BG, I would maybe try and blur it slightly, as too much wouldnt look natural. The zebbie does pop nicely though. Well captured.

Cracking shot Marc. Great timing. With Sabyasachi on the bg. Nicely done.
