    I went out shooting this afternoon to check things out in regards to ducks coming to locations that I like to
    shoot them here is one from today as the numbers are growing.

    Nikon D300 AFS 600 F4 1.4 TC
    1/1600 ISO 500 F7.1

    Are the two water drops (?) to the rear of the bird intentional ?

    Stunning light, colours and awesome pose. Maybe try to define the catchlight or even make it smaller as it makes the eye look slightly soft.

    You caught the bird in the right position. The complete downward stroke here is a winner as its showing a lot. Congrats!!

    Beautiful shot of a teal that I only see rarely in Missouri. Colors are so sweet.
