Interesting Milt !!! Taking advantage of the upper angle !!

Will be interesting to see the comments ! I'm fine with the square crop, might try lightening the bird reflection a bit more and I'm fine with the darker water. The part with the actual leg in the water looks a little odd but interesting !!!

The thumbnail image drew me right into looking at the post. The contrast, pose and composition was obviously appealling enought to immediately grab my interest. However, upon opening the post I couldn't help but notice the noice level and what appears to be a lack of sharpness. Perhaps a little work in post to improve sharpness on the bird and to reduce background noise would be an improvement? The square crop is fine with me though I think a little tighter on the bottom would be an improvement.

i was trying to figure out that leg thing. it is kinda weird, especially after you figure out what it is. doesnt bother me as much as the noise in the background. might try to sharpen the eye a little too.

milt, i used picasa for a while til i realized that the program was changing my exposures without asking me!!!!! not cool! i loved it too. the catalogging was great and it is an easy to use program. but may i suggest trying to find another option. lightroom is light years ahead of picasa, with tons more options!!!
