    Wow, stunning capture Jan, Love the bg, exposure and head angle.

    There is a halo around the bird, face looks a bit oversharpened to me too. Looks like a large crop?

    Jan:

    Dramatic capture, nice colors, striking pose, prey a plus.

    Agree about it being a bit over shaprened. Even with that, the head looks a bit soft. There is something along the birds left primaries at the very tip.

    Some noise creeping in as well.

    Tough shot to get, awesome flight pose and prey. Focus seems to be a bit soft and some grain is visible as a result of too much sharpening but to get a shot like this to start with is an achievement. Well done.
