Default Theme - Patterns - New Gnus

Took this image a few weeks ago at Lion Country Safari. I was particularily interested in the HA, as some say. Thought it would be appropriate, given the camo effect with the BG.

Modification lost, but includes; Poster Edge, Dry Brush, Brightness and Contrast. Other steps lost in the joy of the work.

    Enjoy!

Mark, This came out nice. The Gnus are just recognizable and I'm glad you labeled it with the title. I like the mostly black and white look to this.

Mark - I really like the way this came out. It has a very African feel to it. And I love your description about
steps getting lost in the joy of the work!:)

Mark, You chose a wonderful treatment to emphasize the pattern on the gnus. Looks great!

beautifully positioned subjects......would like to see a bit more of original
texture/color like in the rump of the on on right(IMHO)

I've attached the original JPEG image, as shot, for your viewing pleasure. The posted image was worked from the RAW file.

Very interesting treatment, Mark. Definitely has an African feel. Personally, I think it might be better if the white areas were replaced with another light color such as tan. I say that because I find the strong contrast of white on black a little hard on my eyes. Might just be me though :)

Thanks for viewing and comment Christopher. Appreciate it.

Appreciate your vision, but I do not think it would work with this, as changing the B&W representation in the image would change the image intent. But appreciate your comment. All visions are always welcome and accepted ... Even if not agreed with. ;)
