    Cool bird, I like the raised crest, BG and sharpness and wish for more head turn toward us. I would go for a slightly wider crop and remove the whitewash on the trunk. Where did you make this image?

    Zoltan - Very nice photo. I'd like to see more of his eye(s) too, but this head angle really shows off the crest beautifully. Excellent details and exposure.

    Do you have any shots where the bird is looking forward?
