Taken at the delightful Eden B&B near (2 klms away) Fogg Dam and thoroughly recommended as Heather Boulden & Jeremy Hemphill who run this place are warm, friendly and thoroughly switched on to bird watchers and naturalists in general. This Rufous-banded Honeyeater was captured as it came into a watering spot outside our room.

Nice one Rod - not a bird you see photographed all that often. Love the detail, background and the eye contact

    cheers

Thank you all for your kind comments. Had a great time at this spot as it so near to our famed Fogg Dam, which became a highlight of our 90 day field trip. As always though the shots you missed always bother you so it was nice to get a surprise when things go well !!
    Thanks again
