    Default High-key juvenile Bald Eagle

Hi again, This is another of the Bald Eagles that come to the mouth of Pass Creek every year around this time to fish for the trout coming down the creek to the Columbia River. I found this juvenile perched conveniently near the road and shot from the car. It was heavily overcast and the sky was naturally high-key when the bird was exposed properly.
I like the noble pose, and the painterly effect created by the light.

    Canon 50D, Canon 500 f/4 L, ISO 800, 1/125s, f/8, +1EV, handheld on the BLUBB, natural light.

PP included S/H, local sharpening, and removing a number of branches from the BG. No filters or effects were used to create the painterly effect.

Comments and critiques are always welcome.

    Thanks for looking!

    Bruce

I like the pose, exposure control and the noise is not too bad considering the high ISO. Maybe a bit more contrast?
