Well I have been reworking some of my images for a future website this is one that I did some cloning to remove
a duck that was kind of a distraction. Some images are just worth the extra effort to save.;)

Great shot! I like the expression in this image. I see one spot I would clone out on the left side at the bottom of the weeds beside the green spot.

Hey Jim - This is my favorite image of the Thanksgiving break! A late entrant but well worth the wait. I'm glad I took a look before calling it a night in preparation for going back to the working world tomorrow. Fortunately, my work will involve netting sturgeon on the Mississippi River all week. I don't know what you do for a living but I think you could give the photo pros a run for their money. Take care.

P.S. Gorgeous light, super pose, killer background, sublime sky, really cool ripples in the water and a beautiful diving duck.......

Hi Jim, This one was certainly worth saving! Great sharpness and detail. Beautiful light, and a wonderful pose. A winner all around. I especially like the low angle and the eye contact.

    Cheers!

Lovely photo. I really like the very low angle with the ducks head higher than camera. Sweet head angle as well. Very sharp. Dave

Stunning shot Jim! The only thing I would try to improve is the end of the beak which looks a bit soft. I think you accidentally made it soft when removing the other duck as I am pretty sure it's sharp in the original.

You are totally right Ofer I was moving pixels and softened the beak alittle
I did some selective sharpening to the area I think it looks much better now.:)

James, superb low angle of capture, and just love the majestic pose. I really like the blues and browns in this, and overall, this is pin sharp. Congrats on a fine image.

Stunning Jim! The low angle makes this one. I like that the bill is clear of the BG habitat.
