    Default Snowy Egret at Sunset

The lighting at Estero Lagoon was amazing last Friday. I loved the rim lighting effect I got from the setting sun and lucked out with the wave at the right time...

    Michael:

Magical light. My first thought was it looked like a volcano in the back ground erupting.
My only wish would be that he wasn't so far to the right in the frame.

    Very cool.

I love the complimentary blues and oranges. Neat lighting effect you got here too. I'm Randy about the comp, but all else looks great.

I should have shot w/o the t/c and I would have had more comp. space. this is full frame.

Lovely photo Michael. Timing could not have been better with wave in bg and the lovely light. Well done. Dave

I enjoy this image very much, the backligh is very effective, and the dynamic feel created by the breaker is superb. Would have liked a little more room on the left.

Beautiful bokeh. Other than the placement of the egret in the frame, everything looks picture perfect to me.

Lovely colours and light here although as already mentioned, the bird further to the right of frame would have made it even better.

Outstanding one Michael, a very unusual composition with the bird really close to the left edge of the frame but it works! FANTASTIC colors and an unique atmosphere, one of the best images I have seen recently and I really do not understand why it has so few comments (?)

I would hang this one in my walls for sure :-)
