This little one paused long enough yesterday for me to get a handful of images and gave a nice wing display before darting off... captured out at Farmington Bay WMA, northern Utah.

    John:

Very nice with great wing position, perfect size perch, like that the perch colors compliment the tail color.

It makes me think of a diver going off the high board.

    Cheers

Great shot, John. Wasn't sure what to expect from the thumbnail but when I opened it up -- wow. Very unique pose from the tiny raptor, especially the tail up. Colors are sweet as well and the sky is beautiful. Nicely done.

Well timed to capture the forward extended wings, and hope you got the next frame with him taking off.
