Winners for Lanscape Images
Great entries and we got some wonderfully creative and beautiful images (as usual).
So my picks were as follows:
1. Theme, Landscape w/egret Dave Phillips Visually a treat to look at and Dave always brings such beauty and craft to his images. I am sure we all learn a lot from him.
2. Theme: Landscape - Half Dome & River Merced Indranil Sircar A classic shot and very well composed. The black and white was a nice way to go as the snow capped Half Dome shone through. I think anyone would be happy to have this in their collection.
3.Theme: Callanish Abstract Paul Lagasi (first version) A strong graphic quality to it makes it very appealing and the colours grab you. Would make a lovely print.
Honorable mentions to
Cheryl Sletcha: Tobacco Barn, I really like the old weathered look to this but would have like to have seen the whole barn!
Indranil Sircar for his bird's eye view of Kilauea Volcano. How many time will you get a chance to photograph something like this? Somehow I don't think the small pic does it justice.
And thanks to everyone for all their hard work, creativity, and crtiques, it's what make OOTB such a wonderful environment to be in!
