Merritt Island Activity

Hi all. Hope everyone is well. I went to Viera this am and was very disappointed to see the chain across the entrance, no cars:(:(. So off I went to Merritt Island. The activity along Black Point drive is picking up, but still slow. No white pelicans or skimmers. There were avocets but way in the distance and a few spoonies, but also way in the distance. I am off to Cody, WY Saturday to meet up with Dale Franz and I cannot wait!!!
