This image is of Akaka Falls on the Big Island of Hawaii. It is a beautiful little state park with a short walk from the parking lot to the falls. The walk is through a lush tropical forest with waterfalls, streams, flowers and woods. The only negative is that the trail at this vision point is very narrow. A tripod is hard to use while providing access to others there. Wide angle lens of at least 35mm is required to get the falls. This was shot with my 35-350mm lens @ 35mm.
Modification included; Cezanne DAP, Dry Brush, Poster Edge, Brightness & Contrast adjustment and Diffused Glass for the frame effect.
Enjoy!
Original image can be posted, if desired, for those unable to see the vision! ;) No problem, Denise!!! :D
Mark, Looks like you are having fun w/ your new DAP program! I like the painterly effect and the center placement of the falls works well here. Nicely done.
Thanks Denise for viewing and comment. Appreciate it.
As DAP is new to me, I am learning the variations and have done some nice family images for the kid's scrapbooks for Juanita. Sorry that most of my images are closer to straight applications, but with practice, I am finding my vision! ;) :D
