Help with ID Please

I'm struggling with identification of hawk-like birds. Can someone help me with this one? It was just sitting like this on top of a utility pole at Palo Alto Baylands for some time, looking around the area.

Hi Bill. This is an immature Red-tailed Hawk. I photographed probably the same hawk last week near the parking lot near the visitors center there!

Thanks very much! I think it's very likely the same bird, then. This is the pole at the spot just after the bridge and just before the road turns sharp right around the parking lot.
