    Default LensCoat Question

I have a 70-200 2.8 VR and am thinking of getting a LensCoat for it. The question I have is in the rain, afterwards when done shooting and cleaning my gear do I take the coat off the lens body and wipe the body down or does the Lens body stay dry?

It's made out of neoprene. I've never taken mine off, but a friend recently took his off after a very long time and the lens looked pristine underneath.

I've lifted and looked under it a time or two after having a lot of wet snow on it or using it in light rain and never found anything weeping under it. Just put it on and forget about it.
